The Driving Test
As the driving lessons progress towards the driving test we will advise you accordingly in order to mentally prepare yourself as this can be a nerve racking experience. When the time comes we will advise you to book it, but before this we would want you to have experienced and passed a mock driving test. This will usually be the first time you will have driven without any instructions other that what directions to follow, if this can be achieved effectively it’s a good indication that you have reached the required standard and gives a good idea of how you will fair on the day. You need to be honest with yourself; if you need to ask your instructor how to deal with a situation then you are probably not ready for the test. As the roads get busier by the year and although it is impossible to recreate every situation that you are likely to encounter, you should be able to deal confidently and safely with whatever may arise without notice. The secret of looking and planning well ahead could never be more true.

You’ve passed your driving test. Now you’re ready for Pass Plus, the intensive driver training course that will help you become a better driver and get a discount on your insurance. Pass Plus can be taken any time within the first year of passing your driving test. When you get your full driving licence, you can book the course of six specially constructed training sessions that consist of:

- In All Weather Conditions
- Night Driving
- Dual Carriageway Driving
- Motorway Driving
There is no test at the end. When you can complete the training to a satisfactory standard you will receive a certificate from the Driving Standards Agency (DSA). This certificate will be rewarded by a substantial discount on your insurance premium from one of the companies in the scheme
